· Bothered by background noise when it doesn’t bother others.
· Asking for repetitions more often than would seem necessary.
· Short attention span at home and/or school.
· Mishearing or confusing one word for another.
· Misjudging the intent behind what someone says, ie sarcasm, joking, etc.
· Unable to remember multiple step directions.
· Difficulty keeping steps in order.
· Difficulty retelling a story.
· Difficulty with phonics and sound blending.
· Exhaustion after school due to having to focus all day.
· Frustration when listening, particularly to new information or when the signal is not clear.
Difficulty with fast speech or dialects.
