West Coast Auditory Processing Center is owned and operated by audiologists who have been practicing in the field of audiology for 25+ years and have extensive experience in diagnosing auditory processing disorders.
Our goal is to diagnose and treat auditory processing disorders that may be contributing to academic or daily listening difficulty and help our clients develop a personalized plan for school, home, and work.
We use evidence based diagnostic tests that enable us to categorize the patient's processing difficulties so that we can tailor an individualized therapy protocol to treat their specific needs. We test individuals age 5 years through adult. Test time is approximately two hours.
We use the Buffalo Model of Auditory Training that was developed by Dr. Jack, Katz, Ph.D., along with Acoustic Pioneer and Hear Builder (as needed). A round of therapy is 12-14 weeks and is followed by a re-evaluation. Therapy is always one on one with our audiologists and can be done in person or online.
We are a fee for service clinic and do not bill insurance; however, a superbill will be provided for self submittal. We encourage you to check with your insurance as our rates may be lower than your insurance rate.
